Taking the initiative to steer your life in a different direction can be daunting. We understand this because, at one time, everyone at ABMI was where you are now.
Our commitment to you is to be by your side every step of the way from helping you learn about AMBI or guidance with financing, to assisting you with your job searches. Once you are an AMBI student, you’ll always feel welcome. In fact, most students feel they’ve become part of a supportive family when they join the school.
The Admissions Process
Meet with an AMBI Admissions representative
Complete all admissions documents and an essay
Participate in an interview with a Senior Instructor or Lead Administrator
A financial assistance appointment may also be conducted at the campus depending on how the student wishes to pay the tuition
Following the successful completion of the above items, candidates will be notified by telephone immediately if their application has been accepted for admission to AMBI. The student will be notified when their course is to begin, as well as the orientation schedule for the class start period.
All applicants for the Massage Therapy Diploma program must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent. Students not in possession of, or unable to find their high school diploma or GED may complete an Attestation of High School Graduation at the time of enrollment. If a copy of the high school diploma or GED is not provided upon enrollment, a copy of the document must be received by AMBI no later than 30 days after the student begins classes in order to remain in school.
If a student is applying with a foreign diploma, it must be sent to a reputable and approved translation service, at the student’s expense. The translation and equivalency certification from an approved service must be received to be deemed acceptable.
Each student must be able to display the physical ability to lift and position clients, and display the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time for their occupation. AMBI reserves the right to determine if applicants can meet these requirements.
Applicants must be beyond the age of compulsory school attendance recognized in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
