Re: COVID-19 (a.k.a. Coronavirus)
April 1, 2020
As an update from my last correspondence dated March 19th, I did want to communicate our next course of action in light of updated news regarding the Coronavirus.
AMBI has been given special privileges by the US Department of Education (ED) and the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) to expand its online education through June 1, 2020 (at this time).
These special privileges allow us to serve our current students, as well as new students who would like to begin their massage training at home, while we are practicing social distancing and under stay in place mandates. This provides for students and prospective students to maximize their potential downtime and train for a new career. We at AMBI are meeting you where you are to begin this career training program!
When the time comes for students to return to school, we will be able to do some lecture review and then the majority of your time on-campus will be in bodywork. We will have some instructional staff available online for additional assistance and tutoring, as needed.
If you are interested in beginning your online massage training, and to take a virtual tour of our facility, please call or text Erin at 571-635-5121 today.
These are very difficult circumstances for us all in the AMBI Family. These events are unprecedented, please take care of yourselves and those that you love. Be safe, we truly care about each of you, and can’t wait to see you back on campus!
