Vienna, Virginia—A Place of Unique Charm & Personality

The American Massage and Bodywork Institute is located in beautiful Vienna, Virginia in the heart of Tysons Corner. Famous for its unique shops and close proximity to major metropolitan areas, Tysons Corner is quickly becoming a choice place to live. Tysons Corner is Fairfax County’s central business district with the largest concentration of office space in Northern Virginia. Tysons Corner is also home to some of the finest eateries and shopping in the DC Metropolitan area. Our Vienna campus is only 15-20 minutes from Washington, DC. We just are also a quick 20-minute drive from Arlington Va.

Our campus is organized to provide an environment conducive to learning for students at our massage training school. We provide our students with the best education in the field of therapeutic massage. We invite you to tour our school classrooms and visit with our staff on campus.

Historic W&OD Trail
The Washington & Old Dominion Trail is open year round. The 100-foot-wide W&OD has been called “the skinniest park in Virginia.” This park boasts 45 miles of paved trail for walking, running, bicycling and skating. It also has 32 miles of adjacent gravel trails for horseback riding. Enjoy local Civil War history, or just the great outdoors, when you spend your time outside of the classroom in this park.

Shopping
Our massage training school is located 5 minutes from Tyson’s Corner Center. Located on Metro’s new Silver Line, Tyson’s Corner Center is home to over 300 specialty and department stores, celebrated restaurants, entertainment, offices and residential towers, and a luxury hotel.

Residents in the DC metro area are familiar with Tyson’s Corner Center as a place to gather, enjoy delicious food, shop, see a movie or just relax. Our students enjoy being close to this bustling shopping mecca, along with hundreds of other shops nearby in the greater Washington DC area.

For those who like to shop local, Vienna also offers many small stores featuring local dairy suppliers, bakers, and organic produce.

Restaurants
Vienna is home to many terrific restaurants. Stroll along Maple Avenue and stop at one of the charming restaurants on this quaint street for a bite to eat. Or check out the landmark Vienna Inn. This place was noted for serving good food on Melmac plates and was called out in the Washington Post column “Crummy but Good” as a first mention. A must for everyone to try is Church Street Pizza which, by popular opinion, has the best pizza south of New York. Our massage therapy students have plenty of places to eat when not in class!

Easy Metro Access
One of the joys of living in the Vienna area is the ease of using the Metro. The Silver line is nearby, and it takes our massage therapy school students directly (and quite effortlessly) into the city. Or, if you’re up for parking, you can always drive 20 minutes by car.

Local Events
Vienna, Virginia hosts several annual town events, such as the town festival called “Viva Vienna”; which showcases arts and crafts, live music, food and beverages, and other entertainment. Throughout the year, you’ll stay busy with parades, local races, and community celebrations.
